In a somewhat rare occurrence of rain without lightning in Arizona, Gina and I got to take full advantage at the Mesa Arts Center. The multitude of textures, backdrops, and colors in the different corners and courtyards were an absolute dream. Although it ended up being a quicker shoot than expected (the rain moved on and the sun came out so the heat and humidity went wild), I have no doubt Gina and I will be cooking up something rad to shoot again in the future.
I’m also trying out a new idea where I bring in some of the surroundings to the actual portrait photos, so let me know what you think!
