Any time I get to come back to Georgia and catch up on the Average Squad stable of projects (along with visiting the families for Christmas, obviously) I'll take it! That being said, for the first time in what feels like forever, I traveled without my camera gear and of course I'd find myself wanting to take photos of cars on a family-focused trip. Luckily, Andy had an older body, spare lens, and an extra CF card so I could snap off a couple frames while saying hey to the Macon friends.
After checking out Andy's new Lexus LS400 (unpictured) and immediately falling in love, I rolled with Lee and Andy to a row of storefronts a couple blocks from Downtown Macon and got to the photos. The pure joy of scraping an old diesel Benz over speedbumps and leaving behind little soot clouds at the intersection is hard to beat without breaking the speed limit.
Before we knew it, Lee had to get back to Christmas dinner prep, leaving Andy, myself, and our respective significant others to say our until-next-time's and head home. The 10 year old D200 paired with the 105 f/2.8 performed admirably and I love what I got out of the unit. Check out the photos below and have a great New Year everyone!
